I was excited to see that when I went back to look at the blogs, I had already posted about week 1. You can see it here .
Week 2 started with a wonderful trip to North Carolina to visit Gigi, my grandmother, and my Aunt Judy and Uncle Allen. As always, they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. This was quite a feat considering they outfitted their house with baby equipment for the twins, toys for Ely and even worked in a trip to the Urgent Care for me (I came down with strep).

You don't even have to leave Aunt Judy's house for hours of indoor fun!
After a wonderful trip, we were back in Birmingham for a week of relaxing and fun with friends. One afternoon we met up with the Hills for a cupcake treat.
On Sunday I had a wonderful visit with 2 of my 3 college roommates. 10 years later you would never known we have been apart. Alison is living in Georgia with her husband Matt and Autumn lives in Madison, AL with her precious daughter, Addysin and sweet husband, Darryl.

More play time at Grammy's
Martha Ford visited us for some time with the babies.
We had a great visit with my 3rd roommate, Dana and her precious kids - Nealee and Cole. We had a great time at the park before lunch at Grammy's
The last Tuesday of our trip was extra special as we went to the annual FCA dinner hosted by Chet Williams. My parents had gone to this for years before we lost daddy and it was wonderful to finally be able to attend. Ely and Hudson were on their best behavior and had a great time. The highlights of the night were meeting Aubie, seeing the National Championship Trophy and having dinner with a football player. LaDarius Owens was the football player who had the privilege of sitting between Hudson and Ely!
Ely was telling LaDarius that if he was as good as Cam Newton he could play more!
After the FCA dinner we finally made our way to the lake for 5 days of fun in the sun. We had a great time and even squeezed in a trip to Auburn to visit my best friend from High School, Carrie Cunningham and her 4 sweet girls. They couldn't get enough of the twins!
While we were in Auburn, back at the house it looks like Grammy needed extra help bathing Luke!
