Our first school field trip took us to an Apple Orchard in Roanoke. I am so thankful to be at home and have the flexibility to do things like this with Ely. I love seeing him with his classmates and watching him learn. We had a great time at the Apple Orchard and learned all about apples, bees, life as an American in the 1800 (making cotton into thread and making your own clothes, etc).
Ely said the highlight of the day was picking the apples off the tree.
