Soccer

As the thermostat soars past 100F on most days, I am thankful for any indoor activity. When I heard there was going to be an Upward soccer season in our area, I was very interested. I really wanted Ely to try out an Upward program. When I saw that the soccer was going to be INDOORS, I signed him up immediately!!

Since it is a sport (any sport), Ely has loved it. Since it is indoors, I love it! This has been his first soccer experience and he had enjoyed it. Al and I have learned that he is quite the athlete. He enjoys the competition and team spirit. He might not always be the tallest or fastest but we are hoping he always has the love for sports that he has now.

Luckily, he has had all 3 grandparents at one of his games. He is one lucky boy!!
