Fun filled fourth!

We had such a wonderful 4th of July this year. Although it was sandwiched in the middle of the week, we made sure to celebrate all week long. Monday, Al and I kicked off the holiday week with our annual tradition of going to Concerts in the Garden. It is the one date night we have kept year after year and always look forward to. Wednesday, we kicked off the morning with our neighborhood parade and picnic. The kids had a great time and we enjoyed spending some time with our neighbors who we don't know all that well. After a bit of a rest, we packed up and went to the Sudbecks for a fun filled afternoon. Great food, friends and fireworks is the best way to spend our nation's birthday.
